About the Role

John Henry Newman Catholic College, part of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (OLAAS MAC), is seeking a Lettings Assistant.

As a Lettings Assistant, you will report to the Lettings Manager and support the effective management and operation of College facilities hired out to the public. The role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for lettings clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake duties as directed by the Lettings Manager, including site security and general supervision.
  • Open and close the College for lettings, including managing gates, windows, doors, and alarms.
  • Ensure the premises and grounds are kept safe, tidy, and free from litter.
  • Report maintenance issues, vandalism, or repairs to the relevant staff.
  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment as required for lettings clients.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness across the site.
  • Liaise with emergency services as necessary, including calling them in emergencies.
  • Complete relevant training, including emergency first aid, manual handling, and fire marshal training.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH.
