Once again students at John Henry Newman Catholic College celebrate their academic achievements despite the national challenges this cohort has faced during their journey here.
Among many successes Olivia W was delighted that her hard work has paid off she says “I’m happy with the number of grade 9s I got one of which I wasn’t expecting”
Another delighted student Caleb M says “My hard work has paid off and I’m very grateful for my results”. He achieved 1 grade 8 and 8 grade 7s
Year 11 student Sophia D also says “I’m really pleased that all my hard work has paid off and I’m really pleased with my Maths grade”. She achieved 4 grade 9s, 4 grade 8s and 1 grade 7.
We are pleased and proud to announce that students at our college are continuing to achieve well. The percentage of students that achieved grade 9 – 5 in Maths and English is above 2019 national averages. The majority of our students achieved grade 9 – 4 in English and Maths which gives students a platform to smoothly enter the next stage of their education. Many of our students are delighted to have been accepted into our 6th form.
Our well structured curriculum has also delivered notable proud achievements from our students in Technology, Sport, Health & Social Care, Sociology and Spanish.
John Henry Newman Catholic College is proud of all achievements from our students and they have commented on the dedication and hard work from our staff, they couldn’t have achieved their amazing results without them. ‘Heart Speaks To Heart’ is truly at the centre of everything we do.
