About the Role
John Henry Newman Catholic College, part of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (OLAAS MAC), is seeking to appoint a passionate and well-qualified Teacher of Social Science for a maternity cover position starting September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Science subjects across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Promote student progress and achievement through engaging, inclusive teaching.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities within the department.
- Act as a form tutor and play a key role in the pastoral life of the College.
- Support the Catholic mission and values of the College through everyday practice.
Key Requirements

- Hold QTS and a degree in a relevant Social Science subject.
- Be an effective classroom practitioner with high expectations and excellent subject knowledge.
